“There is something you must understand about the circumstances of existence. Everything that occurs in your life is a form of test that is completely appropriate for the stage of your evolution and self-transcendence. That doesn’t mean that you should accept whatever the circumstance is today and just let it happen. No, you should constantly work within the circumstances of your life to improve them, transcend them, and so forth. But on the other hand you should also understand what the nature of the universe is. That it is this machine of experience, every aspect of which is directly calculated for the sake of everyone who will experience it. As bizarre as that seems, that is exactly the way that it is. So all of these events that seem to limit us are creative opportunities, and without these negative circumstances we are not tested and we do not grow”
