After our conversation I thought about my notes from Sanskrit class this past Wed:

Metta sutta: loving kindness. What is to be done by one skillful in the meaning of life? Who has glimpses of the place of peace (nibbana), she should be skillful, compliant, worthy of doing the practice. She should be tender and gentle, (understand intellectually, then put into practice).

This passage reminds me of you so much it is as though it was written about you!
