Almost every year at Christmas we watch Jesus of Nazareth. In 1995 we bought the multi-VHS set. We watched it on our big screen TV over the course of a few days. Today, we watch it from Netflix or Prime. It portrays his humanity and his mission to save everyone, especially those who are outcast and rejected. It shows his unconditional love and the deep bond with his devotees. It inspires devotion and an aching love. As a little girl my parents would read me stories from the bible and I have always had a deep, personal connection to Jesus.
